Kits and sets for cosmetics
Kits and sets group complementary packs into a single presentation, built for bundled sales or for showing a complete line. They suit travel kits, staged treatment ranges and seasonal promotional sets. In the archive, kits combine parts that come from several different packaging categories.
A kit is a positioning decision before it is a packaging decision. It raises average ticket and presents the whole line, but it ties up stock: one missing item blocks the entire set. Worth planning the kit already knowing how fast each component turns.

How to choose
Define the purpose of the kit before the packaging: travel, trying the range or gifting. For travel, keep every bottle within the cabin-bag liquids limit on international flights, which is 100 ml per container. Prefer parts that already exist in the range, with the same neck finish and finish, so the set looks like one family and stock stays simple. Finally, choose the case or insert that holds the parts in transit.

Frequently asked questions
What volume should a travel kit use?
Up to 100 ml per container, which is the cabin-bag liquids limit on international flights, and all containers have to fit in a clear plastic bag of up to 1 litre. In practice, travel kits use much smaller sizes, between 30 ml and 100 ml, to last a few days without taking up space.
Can I build a kit from parts in different categories?
Yes, and it is the most common case: a bath kit combines a bottle, a pump bottle and a jar, for example. The care point is keeping one visual family, with coherent colours, finishes and decoration, and checking that the parts fit together in the chosen case or insert. Using the same neck finish across parts simplifies buying the closures.
Is there a minimum run to manufacture my product with this packaging?
Yes, and it varies by part. Because Private develops and manufactures the finished product, the project minimum takes the formula and the packaging into account together. Stock packaging in a standard colour and finish allows smaller runs. A custom colour, decoration such as screen printing or hot stamping, and a dedicated mould raise the minimum, because they require production set-up. The technical review comes back with the minimum for each option you selected, together with lead time and alternatives.
